Stacey Rose is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with over 20 years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents having a variety of developmental and acquired language disabilities.

Stacey provides assessment, treatment and consultation in the following areas:

  • Early language delay
  • Expressive and receptive language delays and disorders
  • Articulation delays and disorders
  • Motor speech disorders
  • Social language difficulties
  • Phonological Awareness difficulties
  • Augmentative communication

Stacey graduated from McGill University with a Masters of Speech-Language Pathology in 1996.  She specializes in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Stacey also has deep experience working with typically developing clients who present with receptive, expressive and/or social language delays and disorders.

Stacey Rose practices at Aquilla Occupational Therapy Services. She was part of the team at ISAND (Integrated Services for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders) from 2014 – 2017.  Prior to that, Stacey was a key member of the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehab Hospital’s integrated nursery schools program for 5 years. A significant focus of Stacey’s role at Holland Bloorview was working with children with autism.  Stacey has also worked at the York Catholic School Board, Toronto Preschool Speech and Language Services and the Holland Bloorview acquired brain injury program.

Stacey has completed Level 1 and Level 2 of PROMPT Technique and is certified to use PROMPT to help improve the speech of children with motor speech difficulties. She provides services in clinic, at schools and via teletherapy. She is registered with the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
