“I just want to help my child speak properly…” – You

Speech Difficulty

Is your child having difficulty with verbal expression/talking, understanding what you are saying or interacting with peers?  Struggles in these areas could be related to a speech, language or overall communication delay which can lead to significant levels of frustration and anxiety for both the guardian and more importantly, the child.

You may have had a teacher or friend make a comment, or perhaps you noticed something is amiss when communicating with your own child. A complimentary initial intake over the phone can help identify areas where your child would benefit from support in order for them to achieve their full potential.

Hi, I’m Stacey Rose.

I’ve been working as a certified, clinical speech-language pathologist (SLP; aka speech therapist) in Toronto for over 20 years and most importantly I really do enjoy it.

Over the past two decades I’ve worked with all ages and have developed an expertise working with developing children and kids with developmental disabilities (such as autism) both preschool (ages 2-5) and school aged (ages 6-12).

All certified SLPs are trained to help your child, however, only those with extensive experience have picked up on the nuances of different types of children to really make a difference. Would you trust a brand new surgeon with a life changing surgery or would you prefer one who has many many years of experience. Your child’s future depends on their confident ability to speak.

Please feel free to contact me below or call during business hours at 416-371-8262 to discuss your childs’ language development.

I believe strongly in collaborating closely with families so that their goals are understood, respected and met. I am flexible and creative when assessing and treating clients. Everyone has a unique set of strengths and areas that require support. I adapt my style to meet each person’s needs. My goal is for every child to reach his or her full potential.

I looking forward to hearing from you,

Stacey Rose
